Our Mission
Anthem Giving Circle (AGC) is a group of women who pool their time, talents, and resources to have a direct impact on the local community. Funds raised from our annual “Purses for a Purpose” event allow AGC to focus on assisting families in need by helping to pay for rent, medical expenses, or other bills. We support the local elementary and secondary schools by providing gift cards, and each year AGC collects hundreds of bras to be given to the women’s program downtown. The members of Anthem Giving Circle are very active in the community helping with many other philanthropic organizations and events.
- Anthem Giving Circle (AGC) was founded in 2007 by a small group of women in Anthem who wanted to make a difference in the community.
- The first “Purses for a Purpose” event was held in 2010 and has grown exponentially over the years because of the amazing support of our community!
- Serving the greater Anthem community is the goal of the 33 members of AGC who actively participate in every aspect of the organization as outlined in our by-laws.
- Anthem Giving Circle has its 501c3 charity status under We Care Anthem.
- AGC is an active member of NAAAP (Network of Anthem Area Assistance Providers).
