THANK YOU for attending the 14th annual PURSES FOR A PURPOSE event!

It was a wonderful evening of friends, fun, and overflowing generosity. Because of YOU, Anthem Giving Circle was able to reach our goal of raising over $50,000 to give back to our community!

Mark your calendars for February 4, 2025 when Anthem Giving Circle will be celebrating 15 years of service to the greater Anthem area. For more information, contact us at anthemgivingcircle@yahoo.com

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Your Generosity Helps Us Help Others

Anthem Giving Circle (AGC) has stayed busy since the Purse event last February. Since March of last year AGC has provided nearly $40,000 to families in need – and the requests keep coming! AGC also helps 13 area schools by delivering over $5000 in Walmart gift cards in both March and October. The schools use these gift cards at their discretion to help supplement student needs. Money raised at the purse event goes to immediate use serving our community! Additionally, handbags not auctioned off during the Purse event are given out during Mother’s Day to clients at the Foothills Foodbank.

THERE IS always A NEED

AGC has a wonderful partnership with Foothills Foodbank. In April, AGC participated in the Hope and Health Fair held at the foodbank in Black Canyon City. Our members donated new towels and washcloths for the clients to receive!
Anthem Giving Circle also supported the annual Back-to-School Jamboree held at Canon Elementary. Students and their families selected backpacks and school supplies at this event. It was a wonderful way to kick off a new school year and AGC was thrilled to be a part of it!

HELPING THE greater anthem community

AGC’s annual “Fill Her Cups” event collects new and gently used bras for St Vincent de Paul’s program for women in need. In September, 560 bras were delivered along with $275 in donations and 120 pairs of underwear and socks! Longtime AGC member Julie Nelson has led this event for the last 3 years. She was presented with the “Golden Cup” award for her service!
